Born 2013 in Zurich under great fanfare, Roboy quickly moved to Germany, where he was brought up to generation 2.0 by a team of fearless students of Technical University of Munich. By 2020, he has transformed into the only semi-commercial humanoid robot research project that imitates the human body. It promises better prosthetics, better telepresence robots and is even used in tissue engineering. Right now he aims to win the ANA Avatar XPRIZE for best remote controlled robot with a long term goal of becoming just as good as a human body. But beyond all - he’s a vehicle of imagination - taking you as far as you can challenge your thinking, and then one step beyond.
