Jona Christians is Chief Executive Officer of Sono Motors.
After graduating in 2012 he started to develop and realize the vision of a sustainablen mobility concept independent of fossil fuels. As the joint project grew and consolidated, he decided against his studies in computer science and experimental physics and devoted himself fully to the development of the Sion and the management of Sono Motors.
In 2016, he co-founded the company together with his two friends Laurin Hahn and Navina Pernsteiner. Together with Laurin, he manually laid the very foundation for the company’s first vehicle in a garage and has been successfully running Sono Motors since then. In 2020, Sono Motors and it’s founders were awarded as the number 1 of ‘Most innovative startups in mobility’ by Forbes.
