Get a Sneak Peek into our Program Tracks!

We’re currently working hard to finalize the speaker line-up and agenda for the Festival of the Future 2023, and we can’t wait to share all the details with you in the coming weeks! Here’s a sneak peek into some of the program tracks that you can look forward to.

We’ll be exploring the future of Artificial Intelligence and what comes after ChatGPT and Stable Diffusion with leading AI experts, including Jonas Andrulis from Aleph Alpha, Naureen Mahmood from Meshcapade, Joscha Bach from Thistledown Foundation, Björn Ommer from the University of Munich, Paula Cipierre from Palantir, and many more. We’ll dive into the ways in which AI will change our everyday lives, our economy, and our society, and discuss how we can use AI safely and responsibly. And don’t forget the exciting Prompt Battles!

We’ll also be addressing the pressing social challenges of our time. We’ll hear from Stefan Rahmstorf, one of the leading climate researchers at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, who will tell us what needs to be done now to stop global warming. We’ll also hear from experienced top manager Herbert Diess (Ex-VW, Infineon) on his vision of solar power as the key technology of the future. There will be a focus on Climate Tech solutions, and we’ll pose the question of the Technological Sovereignty of Germany and Europe to top-class speakers.

For Life Sciences enthusiasts, we’ve got a fantastic line-up of speakers, including Laura Figulla from Mbiomics, Anela Vukoja from Apollo Health Ventures, Marco Janezic from Life Science Factory, Hendrik Dietz from the Technical University of Munich, and Klaus Wagenbauer from Plectonic Biotech, who will share how world-class Life Sciences research can lead to valuable cross-sector solutions, not just new medicines.

In partnership with MUC.xyz and Frankfurt School Blockchain Center, we’ll be bringing you the latest insights on Web3, including the Industrial Metaverse, NFTs, DAOs, Crypto Assets, and Decentralised Science. One of many highlights: Ijoma Mangold, author and writer from Die Zeit, will talk about his bestselling book on Bitcoin as the “orange pill”!

In addition to these highlights, we’ve got first-class speakers, keynotes, and sessions on topics such as Quantum, Space, and XR. We’re also preparing workshops and Q&A sessions with experts, which are especially aimed at tech start-ups and corporates. And don’t forget our 800 square metre interactive exhibition, featuring art, prototypes, and experiments, so you can experience the future on the spot, as well as live concerts and performances.
