Prof. Enrique Solano has created and led influential international centers in quantum computing and quantum artificial intelligence in Spain and China in the last years. He has contributed to the creation of a variety of novel fields within quantum information, quantum simulation, quantum computing, and quantum technologies with bio-inspired features. One of his goals is to boost Neuromorphic Quantum Computing via the merge of Brain Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Quantum Computing. He considers himself, in this order, an artist, a scientist, an engineer, and an entrepreneur. Since March 2020, Prof. Solano is CEO of IQM Germany, aiming at designing, building, and applying innovative Co-Design Quantum Computers for marking indelibly the history of humankind now.
