Ich bin der Überzeugung, dass es angesichts des Zustands unseres Planeten wichtig ist zu hinterfragen, ob das, was wir im Alltag, aber vor allem auch bei der Arbeit tun, einen positiven Einfluss auf die Welt hat. Als Wirtschafts- und Materialingenieurin habe ich mich auf innovative, nachhaltige Materialien, Lebenszyklen und Recyclingmöglichkeiten spezialisiert. Durch meine berufliche Laufbahn in der Automobilindustrie als Nachhaltigkeitsspezialistin arbeite ich seit vier Jahren an Kreislaufwirtschaft und der Reduzierung des CO2-Fußabdrucks von Teilen und Fahrzeugen von der Entwicklungs-, aber auch von der Einkaufsseite. Darüber hinaus bin ich begeisterte Rednerin und Fürsprecherin für eine nachhaltige Transformation der Industrie.
I believe that given the state of our planet, it is important to question whether what we do in our everyday life, but especially at work, has a positive impact on the world. I am using my educational background as an industrial- and materials engineer to understand materials, lifecycles and recycling possibilities. In my professional career in the automotive industry, I am a sustainability specialist at BMW, working on circular economy and the reduction of the CO2 footprint of parts and vehicles from development, but also from purchasing side. Besides that, I am a speaker and advocator trying to activate and enable others to become a part of the sustainable transformation.
