Osama Atwi, Strategy, HORYZN

Osama Atwi studiert im Master Luft und Raumfahrttechnik an der technischen Universität in München. Er hat sein Bachelorstudium an der Universität in Stuttgart abgeschlossen, wo er Erfahrung im Bereich von VTOL (vertical take off and landing) Maschinen und Leichtbaukonstruktionen gesammelt hat. Er hat in den Jahren 2019 und 2020 das Deutschlandstipendium gefördert von Airbus Helicopters bekommen. Osama interessiert sich für „Advanced Air Mobility“ vor allem Nachhaltigkeit in der Luftfahrt, neuartige Antriebssysteme und neue Konzepte. Er ist bei HORYZN seit 2021 aktiv und ist für die Strategie Entwicklung verantwortlich. HORYZN „Prototyping the Aerospace of Tomorrow“ ist eine studentische Initiative an der TUM, die sich mit der Entwicklung von neuen Technologien in der Luftfahrt beschäftigt. HORYZN arbeitet gerade an dem Projekt „Mission Pulse“, um Defibrillatoren mit VTOL Maschinen zu liefern.

Osama Atwi is studying aerospace engineering at the Technical University in Munich. He completed his bachelor’s degree at the University in Stuttgart, where he gained experience in VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) machines and lightweight structures. He has received the Deutschlandstipendium sponsored by Airbus Helicopters in 2019 and 2020. Osama is interested in „Advanced Air Mobility“ especially sustainability in aviation, novel propulsion systems and new concepts. He joined HORYZN in 2021 and is responsible for strategy development. HORYZN „Prototyping the Aerospace of Tomorrow“ is a student initiative at TUM that focuses on the development of new technologies in aviation. HORYZN is currently working on the project „Mission Pulse“ to deliver defibrillators with VTOL machines.
