Maximilian Marquart is the CEO and co-founder, together with his sister Sara, of QOA, the world’s first cocoa-free chocolate company. Before starting QOA, he was founder and managing director of 27pilots, where he co-invented the venture client model and helped leading corporates to partner with startups in an efficient way. Prior to that, he developed cutting edge lightweight composite materials for the BMW group and supported the launch of BMW’s first electric vehicle, the BMW i3. He is holding a PhD in material sciences and mechanical engineering.
