Joscha Bach is a cognitive scientist who is set to answer one of humanity’s central questions: Who are we? As Vice President at San Francisco based AI Foundation he is currently working on digital models of human motivation and cognition. He studied computer science and philosophy in Berlin and New Zealand, did his doctorate at the Institute of Cognitive Science in Osnabrück, and researched and taught at MIT Media Lab and Harvard University. At 1E9 he will explain, why he is convinced that Artificial Intelligence can help us to understand our own mind.
