Stefan Göppel is CEO and sole shareholder of govar GmbH, a virtual and augmented reality studio founded in 2021 with 30 partners and based in Munich. Previously, the business economist and early AR adopter worked for RE’FLEKT GmbH, Europe’s leading AR and VR company, for more than eight years. To date, he has been involved in over 200 projects on the two sister technologies, and his work has been recognized with the German Digital Award and the Red Dot Design Award, among others.
With extended reality, govar starts at the point where real reality ends.
He attaches great importance to the long-term use of these technologies, that the technology is used correctly in a targeted, holistic consultation and that the content and not the technology is the star.
