Sophia Knopf

Sophia Knopf is a doctoral researcher at TUM's Department of Social Sciences and Technology and a project coordinater in MCube.

She holds a degree in Communication Science and Psychology from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and in Responsibility in Science, Engineering and Technology (RESET) from the Technical University of Munich. In 2022, she was a visting fellow in the Program on Science, Technology and Society at the Harvard Kennedy School of Governance. Her research focuses on the sociotechnical implications and governance of innovation, in particular in the context of data-driven cities and digital urban twins.
