Rosa Berndt

Rosa Berndt is a futures researcher (M.A. Freie Universität Berlin), strategy consultant and intuitive conceptualizer of future possibilities. She currently works as Senior Consultant Strategic Foresight at 2b AHEAD ThinkTank GmbH. In her freelance work, she has conducted innovative strategy, trend and future research projects for well-known clients such as Nike, Miele and Space'ibles by CNES. 



As a chairwoman of Kapitel 21 – Zukunftsforschung, she is committed to networking and promoting future-oriented research and making the perspectives of foresight visible. 
Her research interests focus on how to imagine (desirable) futures in the face of multiple crises. In this context, she was involved in the development of an interactive exhibition piece dealing with the effects of smart objects on our everyday life in the year 2047 and developed a participatory course format based on existing alternative concepts (e.g. the donut economy) to make a future and desirable Berlin in 10 years time narratable and realizable through the concrete formulation of obstacles and action plans. In her work, Rosa combines artistic and scientific approaches and perspectives in order to make multidimensional images of the future and their transformation paths capable of being discussed and shaped.
