Julia Post ist seit 2020 Stadträtin der Landeshauptstadt München (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) und verantwortet dort für ihre Fraktion u. a. die Bereiche Wirtschaftspolitik und Kreislaufwirtschaft. Zuvor machte die Kommunalpolitikerin eine Ausbildung zur Hotelfachfrau (IHK), studierte Politikwissenschaften (M.A.) und ist seit 2017 selbständig in der Politikberatung tätig. Während des Studiums rief sie das Projekt Coffee To Go Again zur Vermeidung von Einwegbechern ins Leben. Sie ist ehrenamtliches Vorstandsmitglied im Social Entrepreneurship Netzwerk Deutschland e.V.
