After training as a hairdresser, Dr. Carmen Köhler studied math and earned her doctorate in physics. Today, she works as the team manager of ARIES (Artificial Intelligence for Environment and Sustainability) at bc3 the Basque Centre for Climate Change. She is also the founder and CEO of P³R GmbH, which provides weather and earth observation data services. As analog astronaut, she conducts research in Mars like regions on earth.
